The Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation: Meditations on Communion

Sunday after Sunday we gather around and share communion. The words that we hear tell a deep and ongoing story. They tell the story of God’s unending invitation to us, individually and as a family. It is an invitation to gather around and hear once more the story of our wandering hearts, of God’s call to us, and of Jesus who came to lead us home. In these meditations you will have the opportunity to ponder the depth of that story and the wonder of our weekly feast at God’s own table. Using the words of Eucharistic Prayer C  from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer ( pgs. 369-372) take time to reflect and wonder at the gift of the bread of life and the cup of salvation.
