Growing in the Faith: Ideas for parents, grandparents and caregivers
There is a line in the Episcopal baptismal service that asks each parent “Will you be responsible for seeking that the child you present is brought up in the Christian faith and life?”. That “yes” leads inevitably with the question of how to fulfill that responsibility. For each of us, raising a child is a huge task, raising a baptized child presents us with another dimension to consider. These short articles are designed to give you some bite-sized chunks to think about, as well as some activities to do. Each child is different, so pick and choose what will work for your family. Perhaps the most wonderful part of raising a “wet” child is the growth that you may experience in your own life in Christ.
